The annual Mackay Airport Beach Horse Racing Festival is an iconic event on North Queensland’s sporting and social calendar. Named as one of the Top 10 Social Events in Queensland by the Sunday Mail, the Festival has also reached ‘hallmark’ event status with Tourism and Events Queensland, acknowledged for contributing to the social fabric and economic prosperity of the Mackay Region.

The Opportunity
The annual Mackay Airport Beach Horse Racing Festival presents an excellent opportunity for businesses to achieve their marketing, brand and activation goals. In 2016, we are offering a number of new sponsorship partnerships and opportunities. Each sponsorship aligned with the Festival will be custom designed to ensure businesses gain meaningful exposure and access to their preferred target audience/market and ultimately achieve their end objectives.
While the core Race Day audience is very diverse (both males and females aged 20 to 60 years) a number of Race Day venues and Festival events offer more targeted demographic opportunities.

Golf Day Activation: $1,000 + GST
Single hole sponsorship at the Charity Golf Challenge
As Single Hole Sponsor, you receive:

  • Activation opportunity on one of the holes during the Charity Golf Challenge. This includes not only signage but opportunity to distribute promotional products, stage short competitions, offer refreshments to players as they come through etc (all activities must be preapproved with MBHRF).

  • One complimentary team entry of 4 into the Charity Golf Challenge (if you do not wish to have tickets in the Golf, let us know and we can change this to suit your needs).

Race Sponsorship: $1,500 + GST
Individual Race Naming Rights at Mackay Airport Beach Race Day
As Individual Race Sponsor, you receive:

  • Logo inclusion in the event programme – distribution 2500

  • A minimum of two mentions over the PA prior to the race

  • Two tickets to the Sirromet VIP Quarter Deck to watch the racing action

  • Opportunity to purchase advertising in the Mackay Beach Horse Races Program – distribution 2500
