Data is only as good as the objective lenses you’re viewing it through.
Knowing that 500 people viewed your post is fantastic. However, if you only had 2 click throughs and the post was trying to get people to head to your eCommerce shop, then the post goes from high performing, to a downright dud. We know that analytics can be scary, seeing all of those numbers jump out at you can be a lot to take in all at once. However, for you to make meaningful progress towards your goals, you need a way to track how your actions are going. To help you gain some confidence with analytics, this episode goes through some common metrics to look out for and how they can help achieve your own marketing objectives.
Just remember, you don’t have to dive in headfirst into analytics, pick a stat that makes sense for your goals + focus on that.
