In the era of smartphones and tablets, having a mobile-responsive website is crucial. And it’s no longer just about your site being mobile responsive – it needs to be a good mobile experience as well. Let’s find out about how to make your website look marvelous on mobile.
There are two main reasons why having a mobile-responsive site is a must.
1. User experience (UX) - A significant portion of internet traffic comes from mobile devices, so providing users with a seamless experience across any device is vital.
2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Google now penalises sites that are not mobile-responsive by not showing them on mobile searches.
So, what does mobile-responsive mean? It means that the user experience on a mobile device should be functionally the same as on a desktop. This includes navigation, functionality, and display.
