Welcome home Split Spaces

Split Spaces is almost ready to roll! With its exciting location set at CQUniversity in a matter of weeks, it marks the first ever innovative business hub in Mackay, which is set to be the biggest in regional Queensland.

With a hive of excitement buzzing around the 900+ square metre space that will transform into what can only be described as a “Google” style creative workplace, Split Spaces is set to reshape the business landscape by providing full support programs, mentoring and creative spaces for start-ups and small businesses in the region.

From co-working hot desks through to permanent office spaces, the not-for-profit business hub will house entrepreneurs and businesses of all shapes and sizes, with Founder and Managing Director Jarryd Townson saying that it was a massive step forward for the region.

“We are extremely thankful to CQUniversity for providing a fantastic location for Split Spaces. Along with such amazing local support, we have a plethora of sponsors teaming together to ensure Split Spaces is a raging success, creating a unique, creative and modern approach to business for the region.

“Although it’s a new concept for Mackay, co-working has proven to be very successful across the world with many innovative businesses coming from within business hubs. Split Spaces is about enabling our local innovators and change-makers to stay in our region and help build up our local knowledge, economy and offering”, he said.

In addition to offering a location for locals and travelling entrepreneurs to work from, Split Spaces will also offer events, workshops and seminars to create a whole community of change-makers, in order to foster creativity, encourage sustainable business and support long-term growth.

With two boardrooms and a breakout room including kitchen facilities and a table tennis table, Split Spaces is a complete answer for those currently working from home or in a costly office space that want extra support and to be part of a motivating space together with like-minded people.
