Lunchtime sessions aim to help develop greater habits for success

A new monthly workshop series, being held at Mackay’s Split Spaces Innovation Hub, will help locals better understand neuroscience and how the brain can be rewired to help with success in business and life.

The monthly NeuroNibbles lunchtime learning sessions have been organised by Mackay-based Active Adrenalin Performance Coaching in a bid to introduce more people to the techniques and skills that may help them thrive in business and in life, while learning in a relaxed and social environment.

Performance Coach, Facilitator and PRISM Brain Mapping practitioner Trish Edwards said her job was to ‘de-code’ the science to present practical tools and strategies for improving performance across the board.  “These sessions are suitable for anyone looking to become the best version of themselves,” she said.

“There will be a different topic for discussion each month all based around the science of human behaviour. Some of the areas that will be covered include; the power of habit, self-management vs self-sabotage and effective goal setting,” Ms Edwards said.

“The intention is to raise participants' level of self-awareness, self-confidence and emotional intelligence.  We want individuals to understand how and why they think, feel and act the way they do. And to assist new learning patterns to facilitate goal achievement, whether in work, business, fitness, parenting or life in general,” she said.

The interactive sessions will occur on the first Wednesday of every month from 12:30-1:30pm. Participants are invited to bring their own lunch. The first session is taking place on Wednesday 6 September - to buy tickets or for more information visit  https://www.trybooking.com/RMNE
