In this week’s soundbite episode, Jade goes over her top intro tips for using ChatGPT.

One of the biggest strengths of ChatGPT is the ability to iterate on the prompts or questions that you give it. If you ask for ten titles to a podcast and then ask it to create ten more that are snappier, you can continually build on those bits of text that it generates and get something that is closer to what you’re looking for.

Tips to test it out:

  1. Take a recent social media post/email, copy and paste it into ChatGPT and ask it to make it more fun/engaging/dynamic/whatever you want it to sound like.

  2. Copy and paste a blog and ask ChatGPT to check it for spelling and grammar or ask it to add subheadings, a snappier conclusion or something to help elevate the blog.

  3. Use ChatGPT to help generate some ideas. Eg ask it to generate five or ten options to a question (what should I post on Facebook to attract more xyz audience).

With all that being said, while these AI tools are useful and may save us time, it’s no substitute for a living person with character. Take what it gives you and use that as a stepping stone that you then infuse with personality. Tweak the wording, add anecdotes and make that content uniquely yours. Because at the end of the day, authenticity is the key to engagement.
