Kylie Porter from Greater Whitsunday Alliance joined Jade for episode 84 of Marketing + Margaritas and shared some seriously valuable advice. There’s no way we could recount all of the learnings – you’d be reading a thousand-word essay here – but we’re going to give you a little taste test of what Kylie calls her ‘secret sauce’ for marketing.

“After every good time comes bad and after every bad time comes good.”

Kylie explained that endurance is one of the most important parts of successful marketing, and business. So, what does endurance in marketing and business actually look like?

Starting a business or even progressing a business requires serious goal setting. To make it through some of the hardest times, you need a vision to work towards – a bigger picture. Even when everything seems fine and dandy, it’s important to be aware of what lies ahead and how you can get there. Striving for a future goal is essential to finding your business’s purpose, in turn making your marketing messaging clearer.

Marketing isn’t a set and forget situation, it’s constantly being worked on and improved because circumstances change. If your marketing doesn’t keep up with the times, then it’s essentially moot. Endurance in marketing is continually working on new campaigns, platforms, and strategies – it doesn’t end, and it’s not supposed to.

Endurance is just one ingredient in Kylie’s ‘secret sauce’ for marketing. If you’re keen to find out the other two essentials – plus gain some serious insight into marketing and business – tune into episode 84 of Marketing + Margaritas.
